MESSAGES FROM THE WORSHIPFUL MASTER, WARDENS, AND SECRETARY
FEBRUARY 2012
|
FROM THE EAST Brothers,
The month of January has come and gone and I have enjoyed every minute of being Master of Joppa Lodge. Joppa Lodge has been practicing for the EA Degree for Mr. Pat Ackart on the 7th of February. Trenton Lodge has asked us to confer the Degree on a candidate from their Lodge. I take it as an honor for any Lodge to ask Joppa to assist their Lodge in degree work. I appreciate all the Brothers coming out on Monday nights to practice. We will have practice every Monday night at 6PM until further notice. Joppa will have Americanism Day on February 18th at 1 PM in our Lodge. Hamburgers and hot dogs and all the trimmings will be served. Past Masters will immediately follow. Remember Zone School is on Feb. 18th at Perry Lodge. Please come and join us. Our DDGM will be doing his last visit to Joppa Lodge on March 6th. Brothers, mark your calendar and come out to honor him.
On the Square,
Daniel Joyce, Worshipful Master

FROM THE WEST
Brothers,
We have completed our first month of the year. We are off to a good start with an Entered Apprentice Degree scheduled for our February 7th meeting. We have one Brother working on his EA catechism and of course the Annual Outdoor Degree next month. We are going to be busy. Remember, Brothers, that we have Lodge/Degree practice every Monday night. Please come and enjoy the fellowship, you may learn something new. I always do. If you have not completed the "Survey of Lodge Members" handed out at the meeting last month, please do so. This is your chance to help improve the Lodge.
Fraternally,
Thomas Partin, Senior Warden

FROM THE SOUTH

Wisdom from the South: Only practice and study will make you better, so get off our butts and come to Schools.
Fraternally,
